AKP has hosted some pretty epic boudoir marathons in year’s past, and this year is no different. Elevated even from our former events-the first 2015 boudoir marathon was a complete success. Six ladies were glammed up for their photo shoot and each girl rocked it out!

It’s no question that boudoir is popular around Valentine’s Day, but this is such a great experience for ANY time of the year. Whether you are doing it for your spouse or yourself-it is an absolute blast. If you’re one of those gals on the fence about signing up for something like this–DO IT! You are precisely the women we want to work with.

SO-What can you expect on a boudoir marathon day?

Each client is scheduled at a pre-negotiated time. Upon arrival, we will assess the items you’ve brought for your wardrobe. This gives me a chance to small talk with you, see your style, and gauge your make up and hair around what would suit you best. You are then introduced to our make up and hair team, who will help in your sexy transformation. We typically go with a sultry facial and tussled hair, but each girl brings their own personality to the table-enabling us to explore different avenues based on what you want.

Make up and hair normally take about an hour. During this time you are able to enjoy refreshments, a mimosa bar, and girl talk with other attendees. We find this gives most clients a chance to loosen up and laugh a little. Plus, who doesn’t love being pampered?

Once our MUA’s have released you from styling, you will have access to a private bedroom in which you can change into your first outfit. Shooting will commence and last for up to an hour. During that time, the only people present will be myself and you. This ensures that the model’s privacy is priority. Client’s typically have enough time to do two to three outfit changes, and certain styling changes can also be modified with the on site stylist (lips, hair, etc.).After your session, you can change and feel free to decompress with the other ladies before heading home. It is, after all, a fun social event with other girls who are sharing in your nerves.

Within 24 hours of your session, you will receive private sneak peeks of your photo shoot. This instant gratification is to hold you over in the two weeks of production time needed to complete your images. Deadlines are subject to change, but usually average around a couple of weeks.

Upon completion of your images, you will receive a password protected gallery that will contain all of your edited photos. From this gallery, you have access to download your high resolution files, enabling you to order prints immediately from the printer of your choice. I always include recommended printers, and there are many products available for ordering directly through AKP. We offer anything from high quality prints to our custom “little black book,” however your digital files are always included with purchase. A print release is also provided.

The flow of the day is a great thing to know about, but ultimately-the most important thing that I can tell you is that YOU are my priority. I realize what a vulnerable thing we’re doing, that you may not know me, and that like most women-you may not love all of your body. It’s ok! I have curves that I don’t care for, bad hair days, and I get self-conscious just like any other female. It’s so key for me to share that with you. I think it builds a comfort in most girls that they aren’t alone, and that I will fight to ensure they look their absolute best.

Each and every woman I have done a session of this nature with has been stunning. Regardless of the body type or age-there is a beauty in every one of you that I am dying to capture. I hope we have the opportunity to work together!
