Laura and Ron’s wedding day was as bright as they are. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, the sun was shining, and Winter’s chill had finally disappeared. Given the weather, it was bound to be a gorgeous day, but these two made it even more special.
I arrived to find Laura, her bridesmaids, and close family together. They’d spent the day prepping for the wedding and were working on their hair and make-up, as bridal parties do. Shades of pink varied with coordinated, but mis-matched, bridesmaid dresses hanging beside the brides’. The girls laughed over mimosas as the final curl was released from an iron and a spritz of hair spray finished them off. The boys were just next door, where Ron paced the room awaiting their shuttle so he could be one step closer to marrying his soon-to-be wife.
After a quick exchange of gifts (his, a watch and hers, a classic bracelet) and dressing, everyone made their way to Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. We arrived and explored the venue, uncovering all the Disney inspired details that the couple had created for their guests. It was so cute! A sweet ceremony followed outside under the sunlight, and followed by cocktail hour by the Bay.
Laura and Ron joined their guests for a dance-filled reception. Heart-felt speeches, a delicious dinner, and a surprise performance of a Disney mash-up by Laura’s sister made for a lovely evening. A late night ice cream bar was offered to guests before they lined up to send off the newlyweds, sparkler style!
Ron & Laura,
Sharron and I loved spending the day with you! Your family and friends were so kind to us, your party was such a joy, and you two have something so special. We are grateful to be part of it. Thank you for choosing us as your wedding photographers and we can’t wait to see what you two do together!
