Brittany flattered me from the moment we met by telling me that she had seen my website and knew that I was their photographer. I had just re-branded, so it was head-swelling to hear that it had already attracted such a gem of a bride. She and Kevin were both a delight to meet with, and every interaction from there on was phenomenal.
We did their engagements overlooking Baltimore on their complex rooftop, which would later go on to be featured on Capitol Romance. One of my very favorite sessions still to date! It was the most gorgeous evening, and created a trend for all the days we would meet up on after. This trend continued, including the day of their wedding which forecasted for rain, but arrived with gorgeous and fateful sunshine.
I have to say this wedding was one I thoroughly enjoyed. It was an exceptional day, and I believe I cried as hard as all the family members and friends. They hugged me in celebration, only intensifying the happy feels that were going around, but made us feel so welcome. I just kept saying to my assistants the entire day, “this can’t be WORK. We are so lucky!”
Brittany and Kevin were all smiles. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, they were focused on the love they planned to share with their family. It was evident that the time and care that went into planning this event was such a collective effort, and that each and every person in attendance brought with them love and support. This was definitely one of my absolute favorite weddings to date, and I hope these photos do it justice!

So pretty! I love the butterflies! Did they release them during the recessional? Their first dance picture is awesome!

They did! Well, they tried! The butterflies didn’t exactly “release,” but the flower girls helped them out and they were on their way. Just took a minute or so instead of a few seconds. But hey, more time to capture it! :)

What a beautiful wedding at Belmont Manor! I love when families of the couples we get to serve include us in their celebration and we end up feeling more like family than hired guns for the day. Beautiful work!

Ahhhh Ashton! These are gorgeous! You did an amazing job on the portraits. My favorite is the one on the driveway with the trees framing them. Beautiful!
