THE MANOR AT BOHEMIA OVERLOOK | BRITTNEY & ADAM | MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

PRE-WEDDING

Bohemia Overlook is a treasure of a wedding venue. It’s not just one venue, but three. On the grounds you will find The Barn, The Manor, and The Beach. Brittney and Adam got married at The Manor. From there, you barely see The Barn or The Beach venues. You are focused solely on the beautiful estate and the stunning waterside view.

Inside The Manor, there is plenty of room to prepare for the day and spread out. The girls took to the upstairs, while the boys lounged downstairs. A huge spread of pastries and treats kept everyone nourished as they went through hair, make-up, decorating, and last minute tasks. The excited buzz was in the air, and you could feel it throughout the bridal party.

CEREMONY

Adam and Brittney opted for a traditional reveal. It was sweet to watch Adam as he tried to compose himself upon seeing Brittney. This was the first wedding of the year where there was a slight chill in the air, but no one’s emotions were on freeze. The two shared heartfelt vows, shared some laughter and tears, and sealed it with an enthusiastic first kiss where Adam swept Brittney literally off of her feet.

PARTY TIME

Rustic, chic decor adorned the reception tent at Bohemia Overlook. Guests played cornhole, signed large Jenga pieces for the couple, and found their names on the seating chart as they made their way to tables. Upon entering their reception, Brittney and Adam took part in their first dance. The two beamed in front of their friends and family as the sun set over the water. Dinner was served, a film photo booth opened, and the DJ began energetic music. As the evening became more brisk, guests filed their way to the dance floor to get down and stay warm. The newlyweds ended their night with a sparkler lit kiss.

FIVE FUN FACTS

  1. Adam and Brittney met at a bar crawl on the beach.
  2. Brittney painted her nails in the car on the way to Longwood Gardens to see the last of their fountain show with her sister. Little did she know that she would be so glad she did. Adam was waiting there to propose!
  3. The ladies wore the most adorable rompers to get ready in before the ceremony. Take note, girls. TREND ALERT!
  4. The two took part in a plant watering union ceremony. Not only was this unique, but it gave them something to take home from their wedding and keep from the day.
  5. The photobooth wigs were a big hit at the wedding reception. While parties have been protected based on the publicity of this blog, I expect that Brittney and Adam will be tagging their friends in embarrassing posts soon enough! If you were present, get ready!
