It might sound odd, but my husband and I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. We rarely ever go out or do something out of the normal, nor do we go crazy for holidays like Christmas. In fact, we didn’t even celebrate anniversaries until we were married in 2016. Those are very special to us now, but we have always tried to keep our romanticism spontaneous.

HOWEVER, I take any opportunity to celebrate my fellow boss babes. When Caroline approached me about her Galentine’s Day affair, I was so excited. I knew it was going to be full of fun and all the pretty, pink details. It was right up my alley and inevitably made me best friends for life with Caroline and her girl gang.

FIVE FUN FACTS

ONE. Caroline overhauled her best friend Kelsy’s house to create this awesome in-home party.

TWO. I had never met Caroline in person until the day of the shoot, but we immediately connected and the whole afternoon felt like hanging out with old, brand-new friends.

THREE. Caroline and I connected online over a mutual love of Taylor Swift and COLOR. It was no surprise that Tay-Tay played on loop throughout the whole event.

FOUR. The “Heart-cuterie” included everything from Leslie Knope approved waffles and syrup to bagels and miscellaneous cheeses. There was also various meats, conversation hearts, hand-made mini pies, and so much more. It was so delicious, too!

FIVE. Pay close attention to the DIY details! From sparkle covered champagne bottles to balloon garlands, everything you see was created and elevated by Caroline Bell Creative.
