Love is such a complex thing. It’s something we feel inherently, yet have to learn so much about. Some things you have to experience. It can sweep you off your feet and it can absolutely crush you. We need it. We need to feel it for others and we need to receive it. If there is one thing in this world that we all have in common… it is that we all want to know true love.

This is a special month because we get to celebrate the way love exists in all variations. There are parades and parties and people sharing their stories. It’s as beautiful as it is colorful. It is also raw, real, and vulnerable. It’s not just about celebrating love, but speaking up about what we want and deserve in a partner. No matter what that looks like.

When Skyler and Abigail asked me to be part of their Annapolis Pride Project, I was elated. I knew we would not only have loads of fun, but that this shoot was going to represent a powerful group. Everyone opened up to Abigail for the video (see below) and it was an honor to help in the behind-the-scenes of this production.

FIVE FUN FACTS

Skyler and Abigail put this shoot together with less than two weeks to plan and execute. I am super impressed with how many people they recruited and how lovely everything turned out.
Cerea and Erin were the only couple to participate in the shoot, and I loved Erin’s “pride” tattoo on her hip!
My bff Jess Albins Events donated the balloons!
