My girlfriends in Baltimore are just a fantastic group of ladies. I know I say it a lot, but they truly always keep me on my toes in the best possible way. Last Friday, we had a bachelorette party for our good friend Erin who is getting married October 11th. It could not have gone better! Here is a mix of some of my favorite iPhone and instax photos from the evening. Enjoy!
The day began with mani/pedis at Babylon Nails. We followed that up with a hearty lunch, then ran a few last minute errands. Excitement was definitely building!
I started the evening by taking some detail shots of the things we had prepared for Erin’s “nauti bach,” a nautical themed bachelorette party. We started with a dinner at Gordon Biersch and then walked through Fell’s Point executing a photo scavenger hunt. Here are some of the detail shots:
Thanks to Scrapendipity Designs for providing this iron on PDF. :)
We met at the restaurant around 6:30 and had an amazing dinner. Each guest had a special card that included a trivia question about Erin or Erin and Bob as a couple. It was super fun going around the table and putting each lady in the hot seat! Their card also directed them to their team for the night, named for a bar we would attend along the way.
I carried a bottle with me all night that I allowed each girl to leave a message in. I also let strangers we connected with throughout the night leave their well wishes. I’m planning to save the bottle for a night closer to Erin’s wedding, but I can’t wait to read everyone’s comments. It was STUFFED at the end of the night.
I also made a special card for Erin. Her card included Bob’s top five reasons why he loves her. Needless to say, she was a little misty.
We’re a goofy bunch. :)
Our friend “Jengels” shared her MAC eye glitter with everyone at the table. We have now deemed her, “the sparkle fairy.”
On our first stop, Erin was serenaded by the live band. They even played us their rendition of Country Roads. :)
We finally snagged a group photo at our second stop. It’s definitely a winner. Thanks Patrick! <3
We hula-hooped.
Dogwatch had a special area blocked off for us, and we celebrated with none other than… FIREBALL!
More serenades.. and some duck faces..
We danced on the bar!
AND we cried.
At our last stop, I had arranged for Bob and all of our favorite guy friends to meet us. Erin was shocked, brought to tears, and the rest of us turned to mush as well. It was an emotional, but perfect end to the night. It was so wonderful to spend time with our favorite people, and I am so happy Erin enjoyed her special night. I can’t wait for her special DAY!
