MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | BALTIMORE ENGAGEMENT SESSION | ALYSSA & CODY

I was shooting a styled shoot at my old studio when Rachel Rice approached me with an adorable brunette. Rachel introduced her long time friend as just engaged Alyssa, and I remember her eyes being wide as she assessed the styled wedding’s details. We had little time to chat in the chaos, but Alyssa and I connected later to sit down and talk about HER wedding.

Knowing immediately that Rachel of The One Moment Events would be working on design and coordination was an obvious bonus to booking Alyssa and Cody’s wedding. The BEST part about it was how well I got along with Aly from the very get go. We had a lot in common, she has the biggest heart, and even better-we were practically neighbors!

It was an easy choice to decide on doing their engagement session within the city. We are both huge pet lovers and Cody and Alyssa requested we include their dog. This was a quick, “yep” from me! Made even easier by meeting at their home, we even got to include a few shots in front of their house. We explored from there, ending up at Lighthouse Liquors where the pair shared a brew. The evening felt like hanging out with the couple on a date night, and their photos captured them in their natural element. Here are some of my favorites!
