AKP APRIL WEDDING WARDROBE | WHAT TO WEAR | BALTIMORE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I love getting dressed up to go to a wedding! While it’s a little different dressing as a photographer than a guest, I still enjoy picking out what to wear. Earlier this month, I decided to start a new segment about my wedding outfits! Each month I’ll share a few outfits that I actually wore to work. I am in no way a fashion blogger, but I hope this can help some of you as you attempt to discover your style in the field!
DRESS FOR SUCCESS
I’m not one to shy away from wearing a dress to work. In fact, I prefer it! This black number is a classic staple in my photography wardrobe. It’s comfortable, breezy, and conservative. Paired with a sock bun and shoes with touch of color, this outfit was a smashing success. If you’re worried about mobility, wear a pair of active shorts underneath like I do!

April weekends were back and forth in weather. It was particularly chilly during one of my weddings, so I went with pants! These trousers fit like a dream, so much so that I own two of the exact same pair. I tucked in a polka dotted blouse, then finished the look with rose gold flats.

My last wedding of April was a unique event. It was a baseball themed affair and it took place on an actual ball field. The weather was forecasted to be warm, with a slight window for rain. With an indoor reception, I decided even with the chance of rain, I’d take my chances with a dress. This spotted piece has adorable ruffled cap sleeves, but flows away from the body to keep it modest.

I love this new blog series, as I 1. stink at fashion and 2. never know what to wear to work! I always end up with the same 2 pairs of black pants and the same 2 or 3 tank tops with a cardigan. BORING. Thanks for the inspiration!

I can’t thank you enough for this and is “all of the above” an acceptable answer for which is my favorite? I was taught to wear all black when photographing a wedding but you’ve totally sold me on adding pops of color while still looking professional. The sports shorts is THE BEST idea ever!

I love the polka dot dress with pink shoes! I was shopping today for some outfits for my branding session. I always love your style. I’m way too indecisive… but I did buy two tops. :)
