PRE-WEDDING

This was my first time at Weatherly Farm. The waterfront estate is a lived-in property that is partially used for wedding preparation. There is ample space on site for your event. Suites on opposing ends of the house kept Maddy and Patrick apart before their ceremony. They had enough room to get ready, relax, and laugh a little with their attendants. The weather was gorgeous.

CEREMONY

As mentioned, it was a stunning day. The sun was out and it sparkled on the water. Patrick was overwhelmed with emotion as his bride approached him, escorted by her parents. Maddy and Patrick shared in a heartfelt ceremony where they both said, “I do.” They sealed it with a kiss and danced their way back down the aisle.

PARTY TIME

Everything about Maddy and Patrick’s reception was fantastic. The bridal party entered with infectious energy that got everyone in the room excited to dance. There was a short pause as the most beautiful sunset provided a visual for dinner. DJ Korey with a K kicked off the dance floor and the party didn’t stop until the party buses arrived. Admittedly, I was dancing all night myself. The good vibes were strong for this Newburg, MD affair!

FIVE FUN FACTS

Do Maddy and Patrick look familiar? You may recognize them from this week’s new brand launch. The newlyweds made a cameo with their fur baby in my new promo video.
Maddy had her bridesmaids “ice” the groom and groomsmen. They packed up Smirnoff Ice for the guys and delivered them pre-wedding. It was hilarious!
Maddy’s Dad owns (and is the head chef of) Two Rivers Steakhouse, the caterer for the event. I’m giving the Father of the Bride a special shout out for providing the best wedding meal that I have ever had! ALSO, Maddy’s MOH made the wedding cake!
During Patrick and Maddy’s engagement session, I joked that Pat looked like Shia LaBeouf. We posted an IG story poll to ask the public if he did or not. It received nearly 200 votes, and was my most popular social media poll to date.
I will be working with most of Maddy and Patrick’s vendor team next year on another wedding for one of Patrick’s groomsmen! That’s some Deja vu I can get excited about!
