MEG & ZACH

I am not typically one for early mornings, but something about Fall at sunrise is really captivating. It’s also a super busy time, and one that a lot of couples wait for when scheduling their engagements. Zach and Meg were no exception, and thus-we found ourselves getting up at the crack of dawn to shoot at Rock Creek Regional Park. I have to say, being up before daybreak is easy when your couple is fun to be around. I’m so lucky with my clients!

This was my first time shooting at this particular park in Maryland, but OH MY -the leaves were gorgeous!! It was a little chilly and we never saw the glow of the sun come through the clouds, but the beauty of the landscape came to the rescue. Zach and Meg are so easy-going and adorable. I had a great time hiking around with them, PLUS Zach and I found out we shared a love for Taylor Swift. Getting to know little things like this, however silly, is one of my favorite things about the engagement session. Not only do I get to connect with the couple, but I get to experience their connection. These two have an obvious bond, and I’m so glad to be part of their big day next year.
