MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | BALTIMORE PROPOSAL | JENNY & JEREMY

When two people you love decide that they love one another so much that they are ready to take the next step, it’s hard not to get excited. Jenny and Jeremy have been together as long as I’ve known them. That might only be three years, but I couldn’t imagine a better pair. We were not just fast friends, but they were quick to discover that I shared some of their “mutual weirdness.” It was easy to see we would make lots of memories.

Those three years went by. Kickball games, photo scavenger hunts, tubing on the river in the Summer, dog dates, and random nights in boring bars gave us more time to get to know one another. Ya’ll, I LOVE these people.  They are truly my people. They are two people who have made Baltimore, Maryland home for me.

So over the weekend when plans begin to stir, I was called in by my bestie (Erin of EAlexDesigns… you already know it!) for reinforcement. Jeremy had requested my ninja photography skills, and I was elated to find out why. Thankfully we didn’t have to hold in the news long, as he planned to do it on the Tuesday following. We all jumped into our roles and everything was perfect.

“YES.” That’s what she said.

Jenny and Jeremy attended dinner with friends at the Sagamore Pendry, which is an absolutely GORGEOUS new hotel located in Historic Fell’s Point. Afterward, Jeremy led her through the hotel to the back across from the reflection pool. From a distance I could see him pouring out his heart and then it happened. He dropped to one knee, Jenny’s hand flew to her face, and the smiles could not be missed. Once Jeremy joined her at standing height for a hug, friends and family poured out of their hiding spot to play music, scream their “hooray’s,” blow bubbles, crown Jenny with a celebration tiara (a tradition!), hold up freshly made signs, and embrace the two love birds with hugs. In this moment, there was an overflow of joy. I am so honored I got to be there to witness and capture it. Here are some of my favorites!

Congratulations, again! I am so glad I had the opportunity to celebrate with you and I cannot wait for news of the big day to unfold. It’s going to be the best, EVER!
