ANGELA & BILL

I met Angela last year when I moved to Baltimore, Maryland. My friend Natalie of Natty C. Artistry and I had wanted to put together some snowy bridal shoots, and we needed ladies with gowns that lived within the city. We didn’t want to put anyone at risk, but offered a free session including hair and make-up to anyone who responded. Natalie and I threw together a bouquet from the local grocery store’s inventory, and two ladies came out to play! One of those was Angela!

Flash forward over a year, she was local to Charleston, SC during our Retreat scouting trip and was available to model for us with her husband. It was a great opportunity to finally meet him, and they were SO cute together. The two couldn’t stop smiling and it was a joy to share their chemistry with our photography group. Everyone just loved photographing them throughout Charleston, SC. We explored Battery Park and Rainbow Row, but they definitely stole the show.

I could literally shoot in Charleston, SC every single day. It’s such a charming place and I cannot wait to return in August for the AKP Charming Retreat. Here are a few of my favorite images from shooting with Bill and Angela:

It was so good to finally meet BOTH of you, together! We truly appreciate you coming out and spending the evening with us, dealing with a large paparazzi, and laughing at every turn. I have so adored getting to know you better through our meet-up. It’s always great to network and work with other creatives who appreciate the process, and you two made this a great evening for the girls who came along for this photography trip. Thanks SO much! :)
