MATCH MADE

Tim and Lauren are a perfect pairing. They connected online and decided to meet in person. Their first date was quick. Tim had a hockey game after so it was a good opportunity to feel one another out without being invested in a long evening. You know, just in case there was no connection.

But-there was.

Two weeks later, Lauren and Tim would have their second date. It was Valentine’s Day and they planned to have dinner together. Dinner in Towson turned into drinks in Hampden. Lauren says the conversation was so easy and they enjoyed those first couple of dates simply getting to know one another. In time, like turned into love.

JUST DO IT

Tim had big plans when it came to the proposal. He wanted a grand statement to be made and for Lauren to be surrounded by all of her friends and family once she said yes. Unfortunately, many were busy and schedules were getting hard to align. As Tim received the ring, he became more and more anxious to propose. He sent plans into overdrive.

Making an executive decision to move forward, Tim picked a Monday. He cancelled other plans and requested for Lauren to dress up for dinner that night. She admits that it was a bit of a red flag, but only after the evening played out. Their loved ones got a mid-day notification to meet at the Sagamore Pendry that evening. Everyone hustled together to make it happen and Lauren was swept off her feet!

THE WEDDING

Hayfields Country Club is beautiful during April. There are gorgeous trees blooming everywhere, and Lauren and Tim could not have had a more lovely day to get married. Everyone got ready on site, decorations were placed, and guests began to arrive. The pair shared a sweet ceremony outside, followed by a cocktail hour on the terrace.

The reception to follow was equally as stunning. Purple flowers towered over tables and attendees took their seats. The newlyweds shared a first dance followed by dinner. Guests were eager to get on the dance floor and were only pulled away for cake and the ice cream sundae bar! It was a constant dance party until Lauren and Tim exited in a stylish sparkler exit.

FIVE FUN FACTS

  1. Tim’s Grandmother is a Radebaugh. This is the same family of Radebaugh Florist. Conveniently, they were the florist for the day.
  2. Lauren is close friends with photographer pal, Mandi of Chesapeake Charm Photography. She was a bridesmaid in the wedding, which was SO much fun.
  3. Tim wore a custom suit for the wedding. There was even a special tag on the inside lining with the date. Try to spot it!
  4. Lauren’s Mom surprised her by fastening special photo lockets to her bouquet. It was such a touching addition to her flowers.
  5. Lee Russell Films was the videographer for the wedding (below) AND my promo video.
