EARLY BIRD GETS THE GIRL

Samantha and Josh met their Freshmen year of high school. They were friends, shared a few classes, and kept in touch as they progressed. Both ended relationships in their Junior year. This allowed an opportunity for them to look at one another romantically. Josh was noticeably interested, while Sam insisted they were just friends.

On the night of their Junior homecoming, Sam was one of the first to arrive. Josh was also early. The two found one another and started dancing as others filed in. It was an ordinary day, and Josh and Sam were out for an ordinary movie date. Or so Sam thought. After the movie, Josh informed Sam that there was a surprise adventure ahead. They drove out to an all-too-familiar spot.

Josh led Sam up to their old high school and over to a bench. It was a bench they had sat on many times, years before. Josh had Sam sit down and he knelt down to one knee to propose. He explained to her that of all the places in the world, that this was the place he fell in love with her. Sam had to wait a few moments for the tears to clear, but said yes!
