GETTING READY

Lauren and the gals primped in the suite at Silver Swan Bayside. Josh and the groomsmen were getting ready at a private residence about ten minutes away. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a bride so happy as Lauren. She was constantly smiling. Not just smiling, but beaming, throughout the entire day. It was a contagious type of happiness. It built in the air as the day progressed for everyone around. All of that positive energy was absolutely radiating.

THE CEREMONY

Josh and Lauren snuck out for a private first look before the ceremony. It was a joyful and emotional moment. The photos make me smile each and every time I see them again. The moment was preserved further through a highlight reel you’ll see at the bottom! Josh and Lauren look at each other with such love and admiration. It’s special to behold. That continued through their formal ceremony as friends and family surrounded them.

PARTY TIME

The reception was a full on party. Once dinner was served, guests migrated into the open area provided to dance. The bar kept things flowing and Lauren and Josh provided everyone with an assortment of sweet treats to help themselves to. As they cut their mini cake, they were stunned with another happy moment. In a true Orioles magic moment, the Orioles bird arrived to take them back to the dance floor. Josh, especially, was so excited as he’s a huge fan of Baltimore’s baseball team.

FIVE FUN FACTS

Last year, I shot Josh’s sister’s wedding. It’s always so wonderful to work with a family again, and this one is AMAZING. I loved spending this day with them and experiencing another special chapter in their lives together.
Josh and Lauren planned their wedding from Georgia!
One of the first people to like Josh and Lauren’s sneak peek was Hayley Paige. WOO!
Lauren is officially a “Disney” princess, having taken Josh’s last name, “Disney.” The two will actually be taking part in a honeymoon shoot this weekend in Florida. Can you guess where?! :)
While both the bride and groom took part in traditional parental dances, Lauren also danced with her mother. They spun around to Meghan Trainor’s “Mom” and it was SO sweet.
