This has been the season for holidays parties. I made a little promise to myself to say “yes” to as many opportunities as possible this December. It has been so fun to be out and about, socializing with new and old friends.

When I made the goal to attend at least five festive events this month, it was already too late. Tickets to One Big Epic had sold out. It was a party that I wanted to attend, especially having seen the fun of year’s past through social media.

As luck would have it, Ryan approached me about sponsoring the event. It was another opportunity for me to say “yes” to. And, so I did! Photographing the Annapolis affair was so much fun. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite details and photos!

  1. This is the fifth year for OBE in Annapolis, and I am urging Mixing Maryland to bring one to Baltimore next year. (If you feel the same, leave a comment!)
  2. Many of the elements this year were branded in bold “ONE BIG EPIC” letters. It was a beautiful, and epic, touch.
  3. The food, all of which is included in your admission, was delicious. In every corner, something new was offered. You could snack on a freshly made quesadilla or slider in one corner, or slip over to another for shrimp hors’duerves in another.
  4. Light Your Love provided marquee letters to set the mood for the event. They also provided letters for MY wedding, and I highly recommend them. <3
  5. I hate to bring up food again, but this is a sweet one! The desserts were absolutely drool-worthy. I’m currently searching a good recipe for black bottom brownies for Christmas. The ones from Sugar Bakers SLEIGHED.

This looks like the place to be! Was this a blogger’s party? I just loved how you captured the party so many fun moments. As a photographer I also love how you light up your scene, how many flashes do you work with? Great polished work as always.
