Most of my couple stories start out with “they emailed me” or “we met for a long consult,” but Brandi and Chris were different. They were confident in their choices, and booked accordingly. The pair live in Pennsylvania, but got married in Charleston, West Virginia. Being that I just moved from the area in March, we had to be very strategic with our scheduling to meet.

After two failed attempts to get together, we finally caught a break and had a gorgeous sunset engagement session at Sunset Carriage Trail. This is conveniently just across the river from their wedding venue! I immediately felt like I had known the two forever, and they were so fun to photograph. Momentum built as the wedding day approached and it was such a genuinely gorgeous day.

Mr. and Mrs. Bowyer were my last wedding of the year. It’s always a bittersweet day for me as I am so fond of shooting weddings, but also so glad to have some down time to get ready for the holidays with family. It was wonderful to go out with a bang (as you’ll see below) with such a great couple.

You two are beautiful together! Your day was so timeless and romantic, and i’m so thankful I could be apart of it. You made us all feel so welcome, and I know I can speak for Hallie and Larry when I say-may the best be yet to come! Congratulations!
